Shopify Installation Guide
This article steps through how to install your CL1CK Tracking Code onto your Shopify site.
Navigate to the Edit Code Section
Log in to the Shopify Dashboard. Then, follow the sequence: Sales Channels (category in the sidebar) > Online Store > Themes > Actions (next to your current theme) > Edit Code
Locate the file and Find the <head> Option
Open the Layout folder, then select theme.liquid. In the file, look for opening tag <head> and closing tag </head>.
To search for </head>: click into the code and press CTRL + F on Windows or command + F on Mac.
Paste the code
Copy the tracking code and paste it between the two tags by CTRL + V on Windows or command + V on Mac and hit "Save" on the top right corner.
There are other lines of codes between these tags, so be careful not to replace or remove any of these lines
Remember to press "Save" on the top right corner.
Go to Settings
Go to Settings > Checkout > Scroll down to Additional Scripts
Paste e-commerce tracking code
Copy the tracking code and paste it between the two tags by CTRL + V on Windows or command + V on Mac and hit "Save" on the top right corner.
There are other lines of codes between these tags, so be careful not to replace or remove any of these lines
Remember to press "Save" on the top right corner.
Visit your website and wait for a few seconds until it full loads.
